		<description>I had the same thing in high school -- if not the only person who didn&#039;t go to elementary school in this country, I was certainly the only one out of eastern Europe. It comes in handy, you get random people knowing you, and as long as nobody discriminates, no downsides :)

What really came as a shock was moving to university. Throughout four years, I&#039;ve gotten used to being the foreign kid, the one who spoke with an accent -- then I got here and half the people have accents stronger than mine. That made for interesting adaptation...</description>
