on ice
the seas have frozen, the islands are covered white with snow and are accessible from the land. people walk routes that dont exist for nine months of the year, often times standing and closing their eyes as the face the sun to take in as much warmth as they can. even on days when its -15celcius there is some heat from the sun.

sure did ais. its about 2min walk on ice from where we had that picnic in the park when you were here. just walk over the frozen sea a 100m or so
