if you are in and around helsinki city centre anytime before next monday, have a look out for 16 or so brightly coloured flags hanging in places where normally bank flags or insurance company flags fly from. nene from anteeksi has put these flags up around the city as part of her college thesis. so today at 1730 we all met up outside the svenska teatteri (swedish theatre) and she took us on the guided tour of the flags. she spoke half english half finnish through a loudspeaker to everyone as she described the flags. was a great tour, i’ll try to get some photos of it. anyway, it fnnished up on erottajankatu where the “anteeksi” flag was hanging (coincidentally beside the irish flag – it was outside the irish embassy). then we went up for a party with good music and free drinks and stuff.

she put together one of the best invitations ive seen in a while. it might be hard to make out in the pic below:

this pic was taken at her practice back in january (i mentioned it here). another picture was taken for the finnish magazine pàp (its near the end of this months issue (no.10), and that was cut out to make the card above. really cool idea.

ive spent the last few days back in m41lh2 working on some images for a proposal for a proposal of a proposal in helsinki city centre. the 3d model is coming along nicely.
