oh mtv. your programmes have ruined my life. sisqos shakedown and its forebearers freaked me out so much i stopped clubbing. jackass does nothing for me. a few mild chuckles then i start to feel anger and pity. trl needs to be banned now, the sight of silly screaming kids makes me wanna kill plasticpopstar. but, “pimp my ride” has changed it all.

its on here now twice a night and its one of the best programmes ive seen in years. its got everything: crazy rapper host, random semi lost late teenage american kid with a crap car, ducktape, rust, surprises, lots of dudes messing around with cars in a graffitti riddled building, lots of silly neon and pointless over the top paint jobs and 60inch wheels or something. i am not a car person, i love trams and trains and stuff, but still “pimp my ride” is genius. well done mtv.
