sunrise
got out of bed at 0540ish, out and about just after 0630. sunrise at 0700, bought bread at 0745, hullut päivät at 0800. not a bad way to spend a saturday morning.

i should be sleeping, but im getting distracted. still getting momentary shocks when i see my age on things like my profile page on flickr. does not compute. arcade fire cancelled the gig the other day, but i watched samurai jack instead. which was nice. im getting slightly obsessed (emphasis on ‘slightly’) on mapping routes…

taking off
outside gate a27 in kastrup, copenhagen this morning. i was heard to audibly gasp a few moments before i took this when i walked into this section for the first time. nothing overly spectacular, just wasnt expected.

in 2000 i inter-railed. i met an austrian girl in stockholms main train station as i was finishing up my few weeks. i told her about sigur rós and we swapped email addresses. a while later when sigur rós played in vienna the concert was recorded by austrian radio and broadcast. she taped it off…
